Hello out there in Renton, there are two great events coming up this weekend to help you get the most out of your long weekend.
Come and enjoy Renton’s Fabulous 4th of July Celebration at Lake Washington and plan to stay into the night to enjoy the fireworks that start at 10pm. From what I can tell this place is going to be busy, it has drawn crowds of up to 20,000 people so take advantage of the parking at Boeing and the free shuttle service to Lake Washington
On Sunday, July 6 starting at 10am is the Return to Renton car show at the Piazza Renton. Rumor at the Farmer’s Market today was that there was going to be over 400 classic cars, it should be great. I always have a good time looking at classic cars and imagining what it would have been like to “cruise” the loop. We will definately be checking out the car show with Tony after we enjoy our walk down the Cedar River and a stop at Whistle Stop of course.
